Multiple Updates..

Haiz. haven been updating for a loooong time.. but i don't think it really matters since noone reads, as usual. hahaha.. but this is supposed to be for myself so i'll just update lah.. 
can't remember when i made this stupid mistake already.. 
i was parking overnight so i prepared the overnight parking coupon already. coz i knew i wasn't going to wake up before the attendant does his/her rounds tmrw, i knew i had to put another 2 hours worth from 7am onwards. unfortunately, due to a moment of lapse in concentration ( act cheem. ) i accidently tore the 7pm tab instead of 7am!!
see for yourself. 
so what did i do to remedy the situation? i decided to be funny and wrote a note on an old coupon and placed it at my windscreen with the rest of them.
i don't think it was even necessary lah! probably that day the attendant didn't even come. 
oh well. anyway, this is how everything looked when i left my car for the night.

Next entry in this multiple updates.. 
went for supper cum celebrate yi wei's birthday a few weeks back. was feeling super lame when we left (what's new? ) so when i saw this sign board, i couldn't help but comment about it.
focus on the parking charges for cars. it states the rate for 7.00am - 7.00am. where got need to put? it's equivalent to 0minutes where you have to pay for parking!!  hahahahaha. so what's the meaning? next time don't put coupon. if you're fined, u can explain that the sign says that parking is charged only from 7am to 7am. other than that dun have to pay! 
then i went to take a look at samuel's melissa. that's what he calls his new car. 
anyway, there was a cushion inside that definitely belongs to a girl. but sam claims he's single.  hahahahahaha..
anyway, that's not the reason of my amusement. look at this photo.
what do you see?  elmo humping a yellow duckie!!!!! 
hahaa.. horny bugger. he says the position is not he put wan.. but i dun believe!!!

Exciting times..

wah.. so loooong since i last typed an entry.. while i treat this as a blog, i must say i've been super lazy that i've not written anything, not regularly, not even once in awhile. lolx..
anyway, allow me to ramble on my exciting time.. i skidded my car tdy! haha.. had me dreaming n wishing for a moment there that i was drifting my car round the 180-degrees bend a la Initial D! haha.. in all seriousness, all i did was approach the turn too fast, coz i wanted to beat the orange light, and not wanting to slow down, i ended up having my rear wheels skid into the 180-degree turn.
short as it was, the sounds of my rear tires skidding across the asphalt, with the screeching sound was like music to my ears.. but it was during the aftermath, when i had straightened out and was travelling back home.. that i realised my rear tires could be botak from all the rubber burning!! hahah..
and that concludes my exciting day.. cool huh?

 A scene took place on a BA flight between Johannesburg and London. A white woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.
Obviously disturbed by this, she called the Air Hostess. "Madam, what is the matter," the hostess asked. "You obviously do not see it then?" she responded.
"You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat."
"Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available."
The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later. "Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the economy class.
"I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is one seat in the business class. All the same, we also have one seat in the first class."
Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued: "It is unusual for our company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first class.
"However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting"
She then turned to the black guy, and said, "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in first class."
At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded.

One Step Closer to the Edge.. I'm About to Break..

the following was written on my handphone while i was at THAT relatives gathering...
You know what? i hate coming to my sister's restaurant, especially for relatives gatherings.. My parents help prepare so i'm left with nothing to do. Helping out is not an option 'cause i always get chased away by that sister of mine. Don't appreciate the help? Then you won't get anymore. i'd rather just sit around, playing my psp. So i just sit around.. What do you expect more from me? Then everyone sits in their families at tables and where do i sit? Whatever. Anywhere will do. Not like i care..
And it's not as though my mum's doing anything to help. Take today. Coming here,everyone ordered beforehand. I didn't even know lah! Never mind. So i inform my mum (nicely!) that i haven't order. What does she say? (And in a way that says that it's ALL my fault..) She hasn't seen me so couldn't ask me. Wtf?! i was at home earlier in the day lor! Reading newspaper while she was napping before she prepared to go out. She never ask me then blame me that it's 'cause i'm never around? I heard her calling my sister about some stuff and my brother even changed his order lah! More like she didn't bother asking me lor! Whatever.. I seriously cannot care less more and more about that place. Not as though my suggestions are taken seriously. So sue me.
And everyone keeps asking me if i got help out. And when i say i don't, they even ask me why not! Don't push it!

Park Lane Zha Yun Tun

From today onwards, de[xt]er is boycotting Park Lane Zha Yun Tun that is opposite Bugis Junction. This article is purely a personal opinion and you, the reader, is welcome to continue patronising the shop, until you too decide to condemn it.
Firstly, their "signature dish" (if u can call it.. what they're supposedly famous for) isn't anything to shout about. Everything's SO expensive! The amount you get is NOT worth the amount you pay! Moreover, only the noodles are cooked on the spot and arrive hot. The rest, char siew, vegetables and zha yun tun were cooked earlier and are COLD. And they are called park lane Zha Yun Tun. Totally not worth the money.
Tried their another dish as well. Their chicken chop rice seriously suck!! Damn! Everything was again cold and disgusting. Well, actually only their chicken "chop" was hot. It was deep fried after we ordered. But wait! When was chicken chop every deep fried??? On top of that, the pieces of chicken were so miserably small that none of them were ever bigger than a 10 cent coin! Now how crap is that!? It didn't even look like food fit for dogs lah. Looked like some leftover on the plate after everyone cleared off the main, big pieces.
Right. So you have now come to the end of this article. Hope you do not trust the author blindly, but try this shop for yourself and he's sure you'll agree with him. As for the author, he's never going back there again. Luckily, if he's ever hungry in that area, there's a wonderful duck rice and bah chor mee nearby. Now those are a must try!

juz got back from freshmen welcoming camp.. not to bad. after so many weeks of hard work preparing and organising this camp, it has been quite a success if i may say so.
but the main issue of this post is of coz my birthday!
thursday night was preparing for SP night when i was told to go down to the hall at the beach. for some impromptu programme.. there i was told that each OG had to come up with 2 counsellors, a guy n a girl for the freshies to sabo sway sway i got arrowed lah.. ok. nvm.. go up in front, got blind folded. den when the freshies were asked who they wanted to sabo first, it seemed that everyone shouted my name sia!  why me?!?!
ok. nvm still.. suddenly everyone started singing happy birthday... and my girlfriend walked out with a cake full of candles!!!  damn big surprise man!! totally din expect it.. i thot she had smth simple planned out.. who knew it was such a big thing!
i found out later she approached shi hong n ying ying to help out and they were going to do it OG level.. until alvin suggested camp level.. goodness.. they got me there.. lolx.
Thanks Guys!!! That was really a nice surprise!
and of coz.. an even bigger Thanks to my dearest Kelly for "instigating" everything!

stupid arman lah. say i boring. muz be coz i nv update since.... since.... dunno when also ah. since i got the car?
busy wat! work everyday, so early wake up. so muz sleep earlier.. den always dun get enough slp.. so dun blog from home.. now im blogging from office. but like got no inspiration lydat sia!

allow me to start at the beginning -- yesterday.
(of coz allow lah! my blog wat. who wanna object??? )
anyway, yesterday my SE at borneo motors called me. informed me that AIG (their in house insurance) rejected my application for insurance.. but he sourced other insurers already. got a china-something one.. $3.7K!!! r they crazy?!?!!?
i told him i gotta ask my parents lah. coz i was at work mah.. den i ask if can find my own also lah. since AIG rejected wat.. he say ok..
so i told my mum.. den she got damn fed up over the car issue... blah blah blah.. not important.

today.. i came home from work. was talking to desmond abt the insurance issue. he say he can source for me insurer.. possibly will be cheaper lor.. so i say ok, den i came back to talk to my parents..
found out from my mum she already accepted a qu  ote from the same china-something insurer..
was a revised rate.. at a much lower annual premium of $3K!
that's more like it lah!
he contacted my mum coz cannot reach me.. damn! the place i work got no reception wat!  underground leh...
so now.. registration will settle on Thur (19/5) den can collect the car on Fri!!!

damn happy sia...
so many problems.. i was thinking the car's gonna take damn long to come liao. with all these problems.. 
never expect suddenly everything was settled when i was at work!
whew.. tired.. me gonna play my psp liao... hee..
i haven blog abt it ah.. but i bought a sony PSP and a new hp! wow. spendthrift sia.. bought the samsung d500c..

from bad to worse.

oh my gosh.. i went out with desmond yesterday. he wanted to see and make the final decision on getting a psp. before, i was totally uninterested in that gadget. i dun always play console games, whether handheld or tv. games i play... PC.
but at wisma last night, i view that small thing for the first time. and i think i've fallen for it! big time!
how?!?!
i remember when i wanted to buy the samsung D500C. i thot "ok. after this, i'll try not to splurge on anything already.."
who knws! juz hours later, i see anything object to spend money on!!!
to buy or not to buy. i'm not the kind who juz buy when i feel like it. i take time to consider, to think it through. although the amount of time isn't always very long, but i still think wat. (hope that redeems myself a little? )
so now, i'm considering to get both the D500C as well as the PSP.. yes i knw. it's gonna be abt 1k spent.. but i'm already look at ways to "finance" these purchases!
1. i can sell off my old unused handphone.
2. i'm selling of my "upgrade". coz my singtel plan is eligible for upgrade now, but im buying a phone w/o using it. so someone wants to "buy" it from me to use to buy his phone. i'm not exactly gonna change phones again right? i'm not THAT "spendy" lahz! (shame on u for doubting me! )
3. i'm selling off some stuff i dun need. laptop bag (bah! who's gonna buy that...JUNK!), limited edition star trek figures (i got them as a present. i'm no fan some more! ), unused hi fi set (yeah. with brand new ones sooo cheap, i muz go even lower.. ), etc etc..
wow. i've never compiled that list before. juz thot abt the stuff i can sell here and there. now that i've listed them down, seems like quite a fair bit eh? giving the things i dun use anymore a second lease of life, and at the same time, generating some income for me to make new purchases.. not a bad idea!!
ok. enough abt that. it's now up to me to make those a reality..

on to yesterday. after abt one year, met up with desmond again. all over again, i'm addicted to his car! juz can't get enough of it!!!
he drives a honda integra type r. dc5. the pre face lift version. modded up. i juz love the looks. the ride. the power.. it's not a stroll in the park when i'm in it, defintely. equipped with sports shocks and springs, the ride is a tad bumpier and not so smooth. but guess wat? thats part of why i like it! really! it's juz so addictive! comfort and silence is not wat i ask for. i yearn to listen to the engine running. hear it roar when pushed through the paces. oh man. now can u see how badly i've fallen?
we went to kallang to see the unveiling of the new mitsubishi evolution IX. no big deal lah. coz 5 lucky pple who placed their order first and "collected" their cars in front of a CROWD n from jackie chan lah. nothing much. (really! no sarcasm there ) din get to see wat competition or awesome moves lah. haha.. anyway, i say "collected" coz i doubt they were driving home the cars after yesterday lah. maybe the cars were the ones they ordered. colour n all. but with NO number plates affixed yet, how can they drive off? they got to go for a slooow drive out of the stage area but dunno to where lah. couldn't see also.. plus, they're NOT the first in singapore to get it wat. parallel importers have already brought in a few for earlier buyers! hahahaha.. i haven seen any yet. but desmond says he's seen quite a few already.. awww.. too bad..
after that, we went to orchard to see the PSP.. nothing new on that (it's above wat. unless u read things bottom up? )
den we went to raffles hotel to eat at the western restaurant there.
WAIT!!!
it's NOT as expensive as u think lah! the price is seriously reasonable.. it's similar to billy bombers, including the price! similar lah!
2 of us ate abt 50 bucks.. main course each abt 15. calamari abt 8, dessert abt 8 (it was BIG!), after tax.. there u go..
so the portions were very.. i mean VERY large! he warned me not to order too much even if i was hungry and i'm glad i did!
at the end... he whipped out his raffles establishment card, which entitled us to..... ::drum roll::

hahaha.. thats how good that meal was lor. serious! even without the discount, it's already very worth and not those "out of our league" kind. so guys, u can go there try ah.
if u EVER go, u definitely muz Muz MUZ try their..... oops! i dun really knw the name! it's this big slice of chocolate cake. layered with different chocolate inside plus raspberry. and it's coated with thick chocolate! the best thing is that it's not so sweet like those.. i dunno.. haha. it's not the damn sweet kind lah! balanced by bitter dark chocolate and the sour raspberry wat. whew. talking abt it now makes me wanna eat again! haha.. but one slice is very big hor. can share 2 pple wan. thats 2 very generous halves ah.
so mouth watering yet? haha. i think this post too long already. marathon reading for u.

3rd day of work..

it's the 3rd day of work for me.. somebody save meeeee...
but it's killing me! actually din wan to come back wan. but the money is really A LOT lor! as compared to my yearly allowance, the salary will be able to afford me some luxuries.
so in the end i came back.. since still downgraded, i got a shore appointment.. cannot tell u where lah my blog so public. later muz kill everyone lor..
(im trying to console myself that there are pple who read my blog lah )
juz talked to bro arman.. he wants me to blog to cheer him up.. but i got nothing to blog abt!!! life is THAT boring lor..
on another note, im thinking of buying the samsung d500c.. since somebody now cannot give me one liao. cost 650.. 3 months old.. quite perfect conditions.. (or so the seller says lah.. hope can trust him..)
