Remove stitches..

went to bukit batok polyclinic to remove the stitches tdy... all 8 of them.. lolx.. 
man.. it HURT! stung would be a more appropriate word.. let me see.. the threads were tied tightly (DUH! of coz right?!  ) so the nurse had to use a tweezer.. pulled the thread, together with my flesh, up and attempt to snip below the knot.. plus the scissors wasn't too pointed so i was half cringing from the sting and half from anticipating her sniping my finger too! 
haha.. but in the end, everything was fine... my finger, though, looks fat and bloated.. yucks..  disgusting...

after all the gruesome pictures the last 2 days, here's te story behind it le..
i was playing a semi finals rugby match for rsn, navy, against engineers.. i made a tackle, and wound up on the ground. i felt my right last finger touching the ring one at a very awkward position. i was thinking "wtf?!" i lifted my hand, took a look,  (refer to the photos on 5 April)
and put it back down. all these happened while i was lying on the ground after the tackle..
my team mate came over and asked me how i was. i juz showed him my hand. he called a medic immediately.
i was taken to the medical centre, assessed to be either dislocated or fractured but most prob is fractured... weird thing was i wasn't in any pain! it was as if my whole hand was numb! 
i was subsequently sent to tan tock seng hospital where i waited the whole afternoon... the doc wanted to push me for day surgery so i din have to be warded but there wasn't any free op theatre.. so i was admitted, n was told op would be tt night.. i could eat or drink anymore to prepare for the op.. at abt 10pm, 2 doctors came to "inspect" me.. one of them (who was to be the one operating on me) took a look, told me "sorry ah.. a while only.." and he proceeded to pull the finger out, and twist it back into position!~! i could feel the bones move against each other!!! at this point, i started to feel pain.. it was a funny kind of pain.. i wasn't gonna scream in pain, but rather, i started to laugh! i can only describe it as the kind of feeling u get with a bruise. pain but u feel like laughing when u rub... (refer to the photos on 6 April) thats how my hand ended up looking.. straighter but swollen.. den the duty doc came and wrapped my hand in a bandage, attaching a cast to it too.. i was then allowed to eat n drink til 12 midnight.. before fasting again for the op the next day...
at abt 10am, a nurse came n told me to change up n get ready or the op.. i was wheeled downstairs and went thru the procedures.. then i was wheeled into a waiting rom adjacent to the operating theatre.. it wasn't vacant for me yet as the patient b4 wasn't done.. i waited and waited and waited... only at 1.30pm was i wheeled in and given general anesthetic. i woke up only at abt 4.30 pm and my finger was in the bandage as u see above.. :surprised: thats wat happened to me these 3 days... now i gotta go exercise my finger again.. to quickly regain it's use... lolx...

i think i nv mentioned anything here previously... but on 28 Feb, when i went to east coast to celebrate my dear's birthday, i misplaced my sunglasses... sigh..  for those who knw, that pair was bought when i went to australia for my sea training term in ocs... 
after wanting a pair of oakleys since sec sch... (lolx).. i finally bought them for myself! but not even 6 months n i lost it liao lor... sigh.. oh well... i'm writing this post coz i think i've found a new pair that i want! lolx..  *look above*
but although i think it looks nice, whether or not it fits waits to be seen...

manage to take these photos... shows a rain cloud in the ocean.. nottoo far from where i was.. if u look carefully in some of them, u'll be able to see one or two ships that were in the storm! lolx..

another entry full of sh*t! lolx!!! i mean.. u tell me lah.. whether it's crap.. i was sitting in the cab.. travelling along PIE.. so i took out my camre and started snapping what i saw outside the window.. apart from railings racing by, i took when i saw the occasional sign.. or car.. haha..

found out last night at abt 10pm that it's confirmed i've been posted to RSS Freedom.. that means i dun have to go sailing so soon! lolx..
bu smth happened tdy.. the ship was due to arrive back at tuas naval base at 10.30 am... i was supposed to receive the ship when they came back. but i was called to play rugby by another sip's XO.. so off i went and I FORGOT TO INFORM MY SHIP!!!! damn!! so when they came back, they were looking for me.. after the game, i thot i was like in so much trouble lor!! the CO talked to me and told me that we didn't start off on a very good note...  i mean.. this is the CO telling me lor.. imagine how i was feeling.. my next few months' life lay in the hands of this man!!!
luckily he told me he'll let this slide.. i also told him i was in the wrong coz i 4got to inform anyone... so hopefully he'll really not think i'm an irresponsible ass lahz.. lolx..

1st day at work...

tdy's the 1st day i go to work... got the ship i'm posted to tdy also.. thing is my ship wasn't confirmed. even until now which is like almost 10pm liao still i dunno which ship i'm confirmed posted to.. haha.. however, the ship which i am on now, is very shiong with a capital "S"!!
from wat i heard from the seniors over there... im so gonna die if i remain there lor.. so hopefully i can be posted to another ship which is said to be very good for training. as in the officers onboard dun scold and stress unnecessarily. i'm thats the ideal learning environment for me lah.. haha..
so hopefully i can be posted there. also, if i stay on that ship, i won't be able to play rugby or attend training liao. coz the officers in charge dun think we shld be allowed.. but i wan to! not like it will affect my training mah!!! oh well.. things r not in my control.. will call up to find out who do i report tmrw then..

if i remain on the ship im on, i muz book back in by 2359H tmrw. coz sunday morning they r going to sail to changi to station there for the day due to Asian Aerospace... thats means i practically can't celebrate kelly's birthday lor!! den tue morning they gonna sail to batam for 3 days 2 nights as well! yea.. i agree it's a very good opportunity to travel and learn but not so soon lahz!!! im still unprepared! i know as Additional Officer i shld expect to be "buay-ed" or stressed n scolded n questioned every second. but i need to prepare first mah!!!! argh... please please post me elsewhere!!! please please PLEASE!!!!!!!
